Addressing an enthusiastic crowd, Harry Styles declared their location as Madison Square Garden, identifying it as the venue for the reigning world champion New York Knicks. He then humorously added that the arena also hosts wedding ceremonies.
Styles and Taylor Swift had a well-known romantic involvement from November 2012 to January 2013, with Swift's hit track 'Style' from 2014 reportedly being inspired by him. Variety reported that Styles was invited to Swift's marriage to NFL player Travis Kelce on July 3, which was also set to take place at Madison Square Garden, but insiders indicated he would be unable to attend the MSG event due to his touring schedule. Nevertheless, Styles's fiancée, Zoe Kravitz, did go to the high-profile Swift-Kelce nuptials.
Evidently, there is no animosity between the former couple. Styles subtly acknowledged Swift's wedding during his historically successful Wembley concert series on July 3, playing 'Two Ghosts,' a song from 2017. Many interpret this song as his musical reply to her track 'Style,' with lyrics that include, "Your lips are still red, your eyes still blue / You wear the same white shirt, but now you have more tattoos."
